Self-taught wood and stone sculptor. Born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. Joined the Navy in 1975, retired in 1999. I've been practicing my gift since 1978. Initially, I carved small wooden abstracts, decorative coffee coasters, ornate pipe holders and other unique items for shipmates. I was introduced to stone carving in 1997 while stationed in Yokosuka, Japan.
